Em (М м; italics: М м or М м; italics: М м) is a letter of the Cyrillic script. Em commonly represents the bilabial nasal consonant /m/, like the pronunciation of ⟨m⟩ in "him". It is derived from the Greek letter Mu (Μ μ).
