Bimaristan

A bimaristan (Persian: بيمارستان, romanized: bīmārestān; Arabic: بِيْمَارِسْتَان, romanized: bīmāristān), or simply maristan, known in Arabic as dar al-shifa ("house of healing"; darüşşifa in Turkish), is a hospital in the historic Islamic world.
