L'Illustrazione Italiana was an illustrated Italian weekly. Based in Milan, the magazine was distributed across Italy and abroad, and published continuously from 1873 to 1962 for a total of almost 5,000 issues. Together with La Domenica del Corriere and La Tribuna illustrata, it was one of the most-read illustrated weeklies in Italy from the late nineteenth century to the advent of television. In 1981, publication was resumed under various publishers.
