Christ Church Detroit

Christ Church Detroit is an Episcopal church located at 960 East Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. It is also known as Old Christ Church, Detroit. It is the oldest Protestant church in Michigan still located on its original site. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1970 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The church is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. In 2015, the church reported 457 members; in 2023, it reported 258 members. No membership statistics were reported in 2024 national parochial reports. Plate and pledge financial support reported by the church in 2024 was $448,081. Average Sunday Attendance (ASA) reported in 2024 was 92 persons. This was a relative decrease from ASA of 118 persons reported in 2020.
