Maps and Exploration
The Kaiserslautern Synagogue was a synagogue in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on the site now known as Synagogenplatz, beside Fischerstraße. Designed by Ludwig Levy in a style combining Moorish Revival and Byzantine Revival elements, it was inaugurated on 26 February 1886. The Nazi authorities forced the Jewish community to sell the building to the city in 1938, and it was demolished between August and October that year, before Kristallnacht.
