The Furness Railway (FR) was a railway company operating in the Furness area of Lancashire and in south Cumberland in North West England. Its mainly coastal system stretched from Whitehaven in the north to Carnforth in the east, with several branches; and by means of joint railways and running powers, also reached Wennington and Workington.
