Alpha Coronae Borealis is an eclipsing binary star system in the northern constellation of Corona Borealis. It has the official name Alphecca, pronounced ; Alpha Coronae Borealis is its Bayer designation. This star is located about 75 light years from the Sun and contains two main sequence stars, one class A and one class G.
