The Anglo-Bengal War, also called the second Anglo-Mughal war, was a war between a coalition consisting of the Mughal Empire, the Awadh Subah and the Bengal Subah against the British East India Company (EIC) from 1763 to 1765, ending with a British victory and the signing of the Treaty of Allahabad on 16 August 1765.
