Ancient World
Emek Shaveh (Hebrew: עמק שווה) is an Israeli non-governmental organization (NGO) of archaeologists and human rights activists founded in 2008. The organization monitors the political abuse of archaeology in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, focusing primarily on East Jerusalem and the West Bank. It advocates for the protection of antiquities as shared cultural heritage belonging to all local communities and historical periods, rather than as a tool for territorial or nationalistic claims.
